The Practice

Refunds

Last updated 3 November 2026

Fourteen days. Any reason or none. No form to fill in, no questions asked, and you keep every letter you have already received.

01 The short version

If The Practice is not what you hoped for, say so within fourteen days of buying and you get your money back in full.

02 How to ask

Any one of these works, and all of them reach the same person:

You do not need to give a reason, fill in a survey, or sit through an offer of credit instead. Asking is the whole process.

03 What happens next

We approve it the same day it reaches us, usually within a few hours. Paddle then returns the money to the card or payment method you used.

Paddle usually completes a refund within five business days, but the exact timing depends on your bank — some take a few days longer to show it on your statement. The refund is always in the original currency, at the original amount.

We do not hold the money while we think about it. There is nothing to negotiate.

04 If the letters never arrived

A missing letter is a delivery problem, not a refund problem, and it should not cost you the course. Tell us and we will resend it by hand.

If email simply is not reaching you — a strict corporate filter, an address that was mistyped — we will try to fix it, and if we cannot, you get your money back regardless of how much of the fourteen days is left.

05 Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page reduces a right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.

If you are in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase of digital content within fourteen days of the purchase. Normally that right can be lost once delivery of the content has begun with your consent. We do not rely on that exception. You get the fourteen days whether or not the letters have started arriving, and you keep what you have received.

If your local law gives you a longer period than fourteen days, that longer period applies.

06 Before you call your bank

Please write to us first. A chargeback takes weeks, involves Paddle in a dispute they had no part in, and usually resolves to the same outcome — except that by then we cannot fix whatever actually went wrong.

One email gets you a refund in a day. We would much rather do it that way, and we would also like to know what broke.
